2026 FAQ
The YTI Excellence Award 2026 is a scholarship program that presents an excellent opportunity for qualified Malaysian citizens to pursue advanced studies (postgraduate master’s degree) in various fields, fostering academic excellence and contributing to the nation’s development.
1 To be eligible for YTI Excellence Award, you must:
- Be a Malaysian citizen.
- Age not exceeding 35 years old in the year of application.
- Received an unconditional offer to pursue or is currently pursuing a full-time postgraduate master programme, in the year of application, at any of the YTI list of approved universities.
- Hold an undergraduate Bachelor Degree with minimum CGPA of 3.75 or first class or equivalent.
- Commit to returning to Malaysia and contribute to the nation after your scholarship ends.
- Must have at least 9 months remaining in the study period if already started.
2 Sponsorship coverage
- The sponsorship is inclusive of tuition fees, subsistence allowance, and other related allowances. (Terms and conditions apply)

- All courses including medicine, philosophy, anthropology and archeology
