In PNB’s more than 40-year journey as a premier investment institution in the country, we made it a priority not only to deliver our mandate on the creation of wealth for Bumiputeras and Malaysians at large, but to also ensure that we have a positive impact on the economy and also on the well-being of society. Financial education for the public has been and continues to be our top priority as it helps to empower the public towards becoming a financially-savvy society.

Minggu Saham Digital (MSD) is a digital adaptation of Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM). Every year, for the past two decades, PNB had organised MSAM, an onsite event that provided a face-to-face platform for the Malaysian public to become acquainted with the institution and its investee companies, as well as a way for our unit holders to be able to visualise how their investments contribute towards the strength of Malaysia’s economy. In keeping with its digital transformation, PNB had hosted its first-ever MSD from 18 to 24 November 2020 through Facebook and YouTube. This seven-day livestream digital event was packed with interactive activities as well as educational and entertainment programmes to educate the public and enhance their understanding on savings and investments. Whilst MSAM attracted visitors in a particular locality, MSD now enables PNB to continue its efforts to improve financial literacy and to reach out to all Malaysians at the touch of their fingertips.
