Corporate Overview



On 9 January 1978, Yayasan Pelaburan Bumiputra (YPB) was established to promote the ownership of share capital by the Bumiputera community in the Malaysian corporate sector in accordance with the New Economic Policy (NEP).

Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) is one of the largest fund management companies in Malaysia with assets under management (AUM) of RM300 billion. PNB's portfolio covers strategic investments in Malaysias’ leading corporates, global equities, private investments, real estate and fixed income.

Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) is the unit trust company of PNB with 32 branch offices and more than 2,600 agents’ branches nationwide. ASNB currently manages 17 unit trust funds with a total of 280 bilion units in circulation (UIC) and 15 million accounts.

Beginning with the launch of its first unit trust fund in 1981, ASNB now manages a total of 17 unit trust funds comprising 6 fixed price funds and 11 variable price funds.
